Must try harder

Just had the V6’s first annual service done. I asked for the ecu print out.

Standing starts - 0
0-100kph times - (fastest) 7 seconds
Top speed recorded - 273kph

(perhaps not on the top speed…)

That’s an impressive top speed!

7 secs? Do you pull away in 3rd or something?

Did you lend it to Sean

Fair play Gav!!

I don’t know what you mean Ben, thats 22mph too fast for me!!

GPS at the time was showing 276kph.

speedo dial was showing just over 170mph

pretty accurate tbh…

I know, I know. its more about the midrange speed for me. traffic light tear aways are not my style!

Is this only available on newer Lotus like s3 Exige, Evora etc.

Will the ecu show yours has not been driven in months  come on take it out of hibernation

Haha still waiting for injectors to come they had to get some from America as everywhere else was our of stock. Was hoping to have 260 upgrade and new roof on before Walshy day but under 2 weeks to go now so might not happen.

They going to loan you a car to do the walshy day in

Yellow V6 Cup…

I’m hoping they will arrive this week so they can get everything sorted next week, fingers crossed.

Lotus tried to claim they would no longer warranty my car based on the fact I had carried out more than one standing start, I suggested to them I would back the car as “not fit for purpose” as the warranty precluded the use of the performance I purchased that it was specified as having.
0-60 in 4.2 seconds requires a standing start to be carried out.
They reneged the previous statement and then just said they would not cover the clutch, I accepted that wasn’t unreasonable and they then did the warranty work as required
PS had mine to 159mph on GPS, that was on the limiter in 6th
