Anyone here tried these? I’ve done a search and it came up with a recommendation from a guy in the US but I can’t find any mention of people actually using them.
I’m using these ones which I expect are the ones you are looking at. For motorway driving they are excellent, especially if you have harnesses which stop you leaning forward to see the blind spot, as with these there is no blind spot. You just see the car coming up in the mirror and then it’s next to you (however I would recommend you do still move your head just to make sure ) I actually modified the mirror glass casing to take them directly as I didn’t like the stuck on after market look.
I had them on my car. They do give a wider angle of vision but distort the rear view. I took them off and gave them away.
Good for viewing to the sides on motorways etc but bad for parking or checking what may be following at a distance…
Aside:
I have my central mirror set to look at 45 deg out of the pax window (not keen on inspecting the intercooler). This helps with that blindspot but can be a bit disconcerting at first as the verges fly past. Passengers can also check thier makeup…

I had to take mine out - the continual glances you tend to automatically make, only to see a black radiator, were doing my head in!!
I have these on my S - they do distort the view but you get used to it.
Rear view mirror removed to save weight!
Yes, it’s the Eliseparts ones I was looking at. I hadn’t thought about the distortion but it makes sense when you think what the mirror is trying to do. As it is mainly motorway driving I’m thinking about I’ll give them a go and see how I get on.
Many thanks
As a Yorkshireman, I thought they were a tad expensive, so I fitted these
