Time for the worlds dullest topic ever on here…!
The S1 is in for a respray and it currently has some mudflaps on the front. I’ve got to decide whether to keep them or bin them so the holes can be filled.
I’m sure these weren’t standard and I’m getting some protection film on the lower sills so there could be something there to prevent chips…
So in a bizarre Seloc fashion, what do you think?
Are they the hard plastic type? They never seemed long enough to really help as body roll limited their height.
Have you done a search as I did a very old thread on making drag flaps out of cheap rubber car mats that clip to the lip of the inside wheel well and can be put on as required.
I could really do with some. I see them occasionally on other S1s but never get round to it (like lots of other things)
Alternatively you could go for the mandatory MSA mudflaps I had on the exige rally car 2" wider than the tyres and touching the floor.
At least it entertained people following me round on track days.
I would keep the standard ones, to help reduce peppering the sills.
