Leigh, Hullavington is just the other side of the M4 from Castle Combe, is cheaper, has an entertaining lay out and less to hit.
No trackdays at Thruxton due to the silly noise regs.
Then you have to head up or over to find circuits really.

hi ian thanks for the info…didnt realise there was another venue nearby…
i think i have been a bit spoilt with the Scottish Elise clan up here with regards to meets, runs and trackdays lol. Plus the odd hillclimb!..i maybe wrong?
However, Hullavington looks to be a converted airfield to a track, which isnt appealing to me.
I have done Knocky three times this year, in reverse and forward, which I loved.
Seen brands hatch at the lotus festival and fell in love with the circuit…i kinda like the old race circuits that have the dips, cambers, crestsand nostalgia
Castle combe also looks a bit flat, but Ill have a look when im down.donny is definitely more like it and anything with park at the end lol.
Anyway, cheers

Yep, Combe is flat. Also tends to have limited cars on track at time (can be four I think) and there’s a couple of deadly corners that you wouldn’t want to get wrong. Goodwood is down south too but that’s even worse on the deadly front and with falt, limited running.
If you like bumps you should try and get a good at Milbrook. Not a track but their hill route is fun.
