i can still get hold of them. i dont have my mould anymore but i was considering moulding it all again

You after the roof or the engine cover Ben as I’ve only got the engine cover.

I have a single skin one if you want it Ben ?

It’s currently painted up white though, so you might have to apply some black stripes!

edit - just saw Con’s comments again… are you after a roof or an engine cover…it’s the extended roof that I have

Dave is that one of the single skin ones off eBay? How does it look. From the eBay pics the extra Scoop bit looks a bit dodgy???

Sean i’m sure the ebay one for the S1 was moulded off of Marks car and i think that was an elise parts extension item that was bonded on to his original roof.

Thanks for the replies guys. I’m just mulling over some ideas but was thinking I might go for MS Roof and potentially engine cover later this year. As such I was just interested what sourcing options there were.

Thanks for the offer Dave. How does it look? Why have you decided not to run it on your car?

It looks ok…

I’ve never really got round to fitting it to my car for a few reasons really…

  1. I’m not really sure I like the extended roof ‘look’ - for me a lightweight normal roof would be a better option I think (I even thought an Exige might look nice with a clean roof (no air scoop at all!) !!

  2. There are no seals - therefore you either get creative with some rubber or you accept you get wet.

I’ve been umming and ahhing as to whether to fit it or not since I got it (when I got it I was racing and it would have made sense in terms of a good weight loss) - but as I’m not racing anymore it’d purely be for aesthetic reasons… so hence I’d be up for selling it if someone wants it.
