I’m looking for a S1 motorsport engine cover. Thanks for your help
Hi Franck
Great to hear from you
Hope to see you & the Froggies in the UK again soon.
Hi Franck,
We actually have a small number of original brand new Lotus motorsport engine covers for sale. These will be the last original ones available as we bought all of the remaining S1 motorsport stock from Lotus.
We are selling them for 150 + delivery + vat
Sean…
Hi Sean - are these coloured or not???
Half thinking about one for my Chrome Orange S1.
Mark
No, they are brand new un-painted panels.
Sean is there a weight saving over the standard cover?
Yes, but I can’t remember how much, Harvey!

Sean - I’ve sent you a pm ref the engine cover.
Hi Franck,
I will reserve two for you until the end of next week, but with the amount of PM’s I have received in the last 24 hours, I would like you to pay for them next week via credit card if possible. Once paid for they are yours and we will keep them for as long as you like.
We are in Dudley, in the West Midlands.
Everyone who sent me a PM, should of had a reply.
S1 interior carbon goodies are coming soon, as soon as we have gone through it all and sorted out what we have!!
Thanks,
Sean…
Oh by the way, if everyone comes good, please consider us sold out of engine covers!
Sean…
i also sell motorsport engine covers now that sean has sold out. not genuine lotus ones but i moulded one that sean had for his car
Does this one have the same ‘dodgy’ fastenings?
Ok Sean
I will pay next week 2 engine cover by credit card. I don’t know exactly how to do. Please just let me know. Thanks a LOT

the question is though - would you paint it or leave it White
Sod off.
Hello,
Numpty question here (that I am sure has been covered before).
Is there any way that you can use this cover temporarily - like just at track days? I like the idea of the extra cooling that the cover gives, but like the original perspex lid. Can you remove the original boot and the hinge, and fix the motorsport cover on. then when your finished reverse the process? Or do you need all sorts of other gubbins to fix it, as weel as painting it?
Cheers,
Clive.
