having now got my lotus sourced grp bare cover, what to do with the vents ?? has anyone diy’d any mesh or any other suggestions?
Also the best way to secure it? some DZUS type fasteners? Also maybe retain the boot release mech at the bottom for added security? is this possible?

Not sure about the mesh, but for securing it do a search for aerocatch. Just finishing mine tonight.

Mine is held on with two Dzus quarter turns at the top and an aerocatch at the bottom.

The good thing about the Dzus guys is that they hold the panel nicely in line at the roof.
R.E. the mesh, Keith who owns the laser blue rotrex car has the holes meshed, see his PH advert for pics, and it looked good - i am leaving mine open as the red K20 cover through the vents looks sweeeet
I fitted mesh to mine (I can post a pic if you want). I just bought some black coated aluminium mesh from eBay. Then I cut a stip to fit each vent and spent a few minutes bending it into shape before sticking it down with Stikaflex. I think it came out really well and makes it look a little more ‘finished’. Plus it stops all of the leaves from the trees near me getting into the engine bay!
Regarding fixing it, I did mine with 4 lockable aerocatches (which all use the same key, thank god) A pain to fit but is tough and looks smart.
