I had an offer of a ‘little something for the weekend’ which I couldn’t turn down.
I’ll be navigating on the Flying Scotsman Rally for my mate in his Bentley.
We start at Slaley Hall ( Gav- see you there) , Hexham, up to Edinburgh. Overnight stop then up to Aviemore, overnighter. Then back to the last stop off , some hotel at a small village called Gleneagles.

I’ve got to go on a training day to work out which way up to hold a map. So for those wanting to watch, here’s the itinerary. I’m feeling confident, we should be in Birmingham by lunch
