Just a quick question, my S1 Exige is due its MOT shortly and im unable to use my usual lotus specialist garage in salisbury. The thing is its had the 190bhp++ conversion, and runs usually on the de-cat pipe, so for the MOT the standard CAT goes back on, but does the engine require a re-map for the Ministry Of Transport??
I think i read somewhere that it does, but i can’t be sure…any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I use same garage in Salisbury for MOT and all my cars’ servicing.
I think Dave/Cos there just put on their own cat - put it through the MOT test then take the cat back off – they don’t do any remapping for the test.
Yeah thought they might do, fitting the standard one just for an MOT is a bit of a chew on.
Might give cos a bell and book it in there just to show solidarity!

Standard Lotus ECU cannot be “remapped” so … I guess its fingers crossed time
