MoT: Excuse for day out

Nipped over to Phoenix today for A service and MoT. Usual range of lovely Lotus, a Caterham racer , two exotic Porsches and concours Triumph TR3A.
I left them to it and, eccentrically, took a train to Burnley. And wished I hadn’t. The only saving grace was an M&S toasted cheese and ham sandwich and coffee.
Great drive back via Clitheroe and the back lanes to home. So good, I washed the motor and dried it off ready for the weekend.

Nice one Thommo - see you at Oulton on Saturday! :sunglasses:

As a Blackburn season ticket holder of 30+ years (but likely not next season if the chicken farmers remain in place :frowning: )I could have given you a few choice songs to amuse the inbreds, that would have spiced the day up nicely for you Steve

I believe that Burnley is relatively civilised in comparison with Blackburn so I took the train east instead of west. Ollie said his mum won’t venture into Blackburn now.
