I have finally pulled my finger out and got myself Logged On !
Great to meet you and some of the guys at Silverstone the other week , and on your recommendation I have sorted myself out with Jim from 2bular for a GT3 system + De Cat , and have sent you the necessary for one of your Diffusers.
At last the new S2S will start to sound & look a little better. Though I have to agree with the niggles that others have listed on the S.
I was blown away at Silverstone by some of the Honda conversions, and was seriously tempted to go and find myself a chassis to put one in. So , away I went & did some digging and this is what I found :-
From a UK Honda Civic Type R 2005 , with 5k miles on it.
Engine + Gearbox + all the electrics & bits , including keys
with 6mths Parts & labour warranty for �3995 including Vat & delivery.
Now I need some guidance, who does the best installation ? and is this a good deal on the engine etc ?
Also is there any particular model of S1 that I should be looking for as a chasis donor ?
If anyone else is interested I found the Engine at Prestige Engine Products, who seems to have a line on these things , and everything else by the sound of it (VAG etc + Turbos…) Speak to Harvey on 01905 391 007.
Now if I can just find a decent Chasis , I can dust off my old Caterham race suit and come and play in this race series of yours.

its in newcastle,horrible red interior but we were talkin about it in another thread that it could make a good race base

Good choice of exhaust & diffuser I recently had a pax ride with JohnO at Oulton in his ExigeS with Jim’s exhaust - sounded perfect from in the cabin - sporty but not too loud
That Honda engine/gearbox etc - not being funny, but at �3995 that appears very expensive. Traditionally, one would expect to be paying between �2500 & �3000 for that spec. - however, perhaps it’s now a matter of supply & demand? Anywy, best of luck

You need to speak to MarcP who occassionally posts on this board. He suppplied my Honda, plus a load of the others. I’ll try and find his number unless someone has it to hand??
Great meeting you at Silverstone, see you’ve got the bug already, and made the right move to log on, great bunch of guys on here. I’ll second everyone above get an engine from MarcP and have it fitted by the edwards boys (LotusPower), there installations are amazing.

would be great to see you in the Mid engined or Lotus on track series next year
