More starting problems!

Needed to use the car today, and she didn’t want to move off the drive. I have got no sparks, plugs are dry but fuel pump primes & power to injectors, all fuses are ok and battery is nearly new. Any ideas on why it wont start anybody?. There is power on the ignition coil fuse (7.5A behind the seats) but no power on the coil pack plug (White, Green ,Grey wires). Does the wire between the two connect or go off to the ECU or something else first?.

try swapping the two relays behind the seats (one is fuel injectors and the other is ignition i think, but don’t quote me )

Also remove the connector to the Throttle Position sensor, check it and give it a skoosh with WD40, maybe also work the accelerator pedal a few times after you done this. If this doesn’t work, do the same with the brown and blue temperature senders.

Hopefully this will work but let us know how you get on.

Failing that, stand on your left leg facing east, outstretch your right arm, then wave two fingers whilst shouting aloud “Up yours, mighty automotive engineers of Hethel”

Sorry, a couple of large brandies…

Where they both called Brandy?

How you getting on moles?

Got it going in the end dont know how though, left it overnight and it fired in the morning. I had power on the 7.5A fuse to the coil pack (behind the seats) but no power on the coil pack plug, I downloaded the Exige supplement of the service manual off Phil’s site for the wiring diagrams, should be 12v on the green wire and the immobiliser is the only thing that splits the wire so hopefully it had a funny five mins and is back to normal again now.

Edited to say thanks Rox but I had my fair share of fun with the fuel pump relay last month, got four of the little beauties as spares now.
