Can someone please give me a link to an old mod that was carried out by a member who’s name eludes me to manufacture new front brake backing plates to incorporate a forced air feed from the blanked off black portion in the front clam? IO have tried the search option in vane. Your help is appreciated from an old member with very few lists.

For what its worth I note that some guys simply open out the dummy vents and stick the hose in with Stickaflex or whatever its called…saves a lot of time making fibreglass ducts.
The hose is then cable tied to the wishbones as far as I know.
You might regard this as a Bodge of course as you are a perfectionist.!!!

PS you could always buy ducts from Deamon Thieves ,.they have loads of shapes in stock.
All is good with Canada, Jo and I landed the visas back in April so we are now recognised as residents. We have too live there for 2 out of the next 5 years to get permanent residency similar to NZ which we are well into now. Another 18 months and we will be citizens with Kiwi passports. We will then spread our wings and fly North like canadian geese and comply with their rules for as long as it takes.
As for the brebuild. I’m manufacturing the ducting vents from Kevlar and using some tubing that i got from a local supplier in town. The plates will be fabricated slightly different to the thread more like the porsche cup cars.
