Mod time pt1-first up Shift-i & rear view cam

I want mine to warn me when approaching max revs without having to take my eyes off the tarmac

My theory is the 5000 start point also tells me it’s time to change down when the lights go out to stay in the power.

Eh??? I don’t think you need lights to tell you that

Beats me, as I haven’t used it yet on track I’ll just see what I prefer. Start point was cam coming in with the very noticeable lights flashing at max rpm. Although I have a felling I’ll be setting it to 250 rpm points from 6500 eventually.

Wot you have never come to a sharp corner after a straight and not gone down enough gears to pull out the other side !

Just me then

Perhaps I know my car better than you know yours - well, after 9 years of a loving relationship, me & my are well acquainted! LOL

I thought the shift interval was set automatically?

Nope, it’s adjustable, see http://www.ecliptech.com.au/

I have mine set from 5000-7200, I never need to look down any more.

i’d say it’s the best money i’ve spent on the car for track work! I find as the day goes on I judge how much quicker i’m travelling by the light’s lit per corner.
