yea yea
Just organised my B&B for this, coming up Friday, day at Alton Towers Saturday then Chatsworth on the Sunday, I will be staying in Matlock
I need to organise this too. There may even by a rare appearance by Mrs Benja! She’s not even been in the car for about 5 years…
And how many kids have you conceived in that time?
I bet none were conceived in the car. Maybe on it, but not in it.
Exactly!
We are staying at a nice B&B in Matlock called Sheriff Lodge
Thanks Ade.
I think one of the last times she went in it was just after it had been Honda’d and she was pregnant with our first he’s six now and has a brother and sister IIRC we were actually going over to see IDG.
I can confirm none of them were conceived in or on the car
Its this weekend and whilst I may come I won’t be in the Exige. Several reasons not least that I expect the traffic to be shit (its the first weekend of the school hols) and I can’t face sitting cooking in the hotbox for large parts of Sat and Sun,…I must be getting old
It’s really worthwhile coming along to the early morning run, the roads are near deserted at that time and they are fantastic roads!! I’ve met up with the MLOC boys for an early morning run there a few times over the last couple of months, I enjoy the drive almost as much as a track day! They don’t drive like nancy boys those lot
Yeah I’m gonna have my Missus with me and she’d hate that. I’ve only done a couple, but seem some pretty silly behaviour on ‘runs’ so don’t really do them anymore*
- the annual pilgrimage to Anglesey is exempt,…that’s special
EFA
I’ll be there
Was good to meet a few of the exiges lot yesterday at Chatsworth , all the cars looked awesome lined up , was a good day , just got two weeks of cleaning my car now to get half of Matlock off it .
It was a great day, really enjoyed it. The run was brilliant, just a shame it was damp in the morning. Lovely cars on show. I even won a £50 eliseparts voucher which was a pleasant surprise! My 5 hours spent cleaning the car on Saturday was ruined within 5 minutes when I left my house because it had been raining, doh. Cracking day though, thoroughly enjoyed it.
I agree, the day was excellent, my car looked just like it had done 200 miles getting there, then spent 36 hours sitting under a tree outside the guest house and finally some miles (I have no idea how many as I now have no mileometer anymore) on a lovely run around the Matlock and Chatsworth area
