MLOC Chatsworth 27th July

Leaving my car in the garage and never walking around the front does a very good job as well, must remember to use the car this summer…

When it comes to stone chips I reckon mine spent time in an asteroid belt…and if the suspension is anything to go by parked under the sea. It’s a solid car though

So we are all meeting for breakfast at Hossop then driving to Chatsworth, is that right? It’s been a long day…

Aye meet at Hassop Station Café – DE45 1NW about 11ish and head off. We will have had a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and head to Hassop for a cuppa before a gentle trundle into Chatsworth.

I don’t know what time the guys on the early morning run will leave Hassop? I guess it will be around then?

Great, 2 hr trip for me. Probably coming in convoy with Jabbs and Ted

Just spoken with Pierre (Series_one on here) & he will be joining us at Chatsworth - top geezer! :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

Have a good weekend gent’s

WOOOOO HOOOOOO!

I’m comming baby!!

Just arrived from Budapest last night  I’ll look up DE45 1NW and work out how to get there from Chislehurst Kent/London in time. Anyone else leaving from somewhere around there? Im sat nav slave otherwise lol.

Thanks Rob for the headsup!

Have a great time guys

Cheers - but Shrek would love a day out too, so why not bring him Steve? :sunglasses:

 ^^^^^ this

Hear, hear!

Made it to my sister’s place north of Brum, car has developed a vibration under load…nothing obvious visually wrong ( although in fairness it would have it pretty fookin’ obvious for to spot it!). Don’t really want to come to Chatsworth in an S-Max :frowning:

:frowning:

Sombody near by must have a ramp to offer help. Engine mount, exhaust bolt?

Floor or diffuser would be too easy to spot so Im guessing the above. Loose wheel nuts would be a nice easy one too. Didn’t you just have MBR service it, what was done, that bit perhaps?

I can pick you and your lady up in the Evora if you like.

Could try the Edwards . . .they’re pretty close at hand, I think.

Checked wheels are all torqued up, it’s not that. It feels like drivetrain tbh, maybe CV but I can’t see a boot split or anything. I’ve just got to the hotel so I’m tempted to just trickle around in it with my fingers crossed.

So the question is do I save the car for tomorrow or use it tonight to go to the pub meet

Use it for pub run and take advice from the collective (before they sup too much, obviously)

'cos the crowd is always right

Good luck with it. Bound to be a mechanic owner at the pub who can correctly id it.

I would love to have brought him down but goddaughters 2nd birthday party today

You have the long wheelbase version?
Douglas Barder would find the back of mine a squeeze

Plenty of ladies have been in back seat already, no complaints so far

Does look better when the stilletto’s exit from the front pax seat tho :stuck_out_tongue:
