Mintex 1144 Brake Pads

I have brought a pair of Mintex 1144 Brake Pads for Road use on a standard Exige S1. They have come with a rubber backing to reduce brake squeal. Has anyone fitted these pads and would any one recomend either fitting or not fitting these eadhesive backs for Road use? :confused:

I’d fit them. Will also will reduce “pad rattle” as they wear.

I believe the rubber pads will stop (or reduce) low speed brake Squealing.

1144’s are fine, but create lots of dust. Make sure you fit the backing strips.
