Running a decat and so after a reset the MIL light pops up in no time. Not the end of the world but I’d ideally like to not have the light blinding me at night so wanted to find a solution.
Anyone tried something like this?
quite a lot of us use these with varying levels of success, it does work on mine where other solutions didn’t.
My post cat sensor has been trick wired, Done at what was Sinclairs now Essex autosport. took all of 2 mins.
Cheers guys. Think I’ll give it a whirl. I am based in Leeds for Sinclaires are a bit of a hike for me these days. Sincs did the katana install and remap at the time but don’t fancy a 400 mile round trip just to switch off the MIL light, I’d rather take the bulb out 
I’ve got one of those eliminator jobbies to put on when the new exhaust arrives. I note Elise parts have te wire solution for sale. Looks simple enough
Get an obd reader/clearer and switch it off at your convenience?
I use torque app for Android and a kiwi Bluetooth adapter.
As soon as I turned off mine it came back on again, I just gave up for 2 years till I installed one of those and all has been ok ever since 
I used that before mapping around it at Essex. Good bit of kit IMO.
Tried the straight spacer and it came back on eventually, the only one that worked 100% was the 90 degree spacer.

i used one from jperfomance.com but it came on after a short while
then my mate gave me a standard one that spaced it off another inch or so and that worked fine ever since
Try Hangar111 - they sell an eliminator kit.
Just had a butchers at the Hangar111 solution. It looks a more technical solution than just an extension. I presume, particularly given you can adjust the settings, that this has a higher success rate given that many have reported on/off results from the ebay style fix? Anyone have the Hangar kit confirm? Also, how easy is the Hangar kit to fit?
