MIL eliminator kit.

Am i right in saying the MIL eliminator kit “fools” the management into thinking its still got a CAT on it, so the MIL light doesnt come on your dash?
If so my question is, does it fool/or effect any other sensors which will illiminate my MIL light?
In other words, does it stop my MIL coming on completely?in all circumstances?
Also, do you only need these when fitting a 2ublar? If you use a stage 2 for instance will you need an eliminator kit?

any help/guidance needed
cheers guys

It just goes in the wiring to the post cat o2 sensor so as far as i know, it just let the management see a cat. So the mil should still work for other problems.
Its only required when you remove the cat, irrelevent of which exhaust youve got. So if your only changing the exhaust and leaving the cat on, it isnt required.

Ah ok, as long as it the mil works for other problems, thatl be good.
Is it easy to fit? im not very “electrical” minded…just

Fiddley but not complicated, cut two wires and ideally solder in mil eliminator.
