Afternoon.
I need to repair my MFRU loom connector. It was a temporary repair ( recrimp ) to get me going last time but I have had two occasions where the car wont start.
How can I repair this part of the loom? Are there new connectors available so I can chop and extend the loom repairing as I go on?
Andy if it was mine i would get a good secondhand loom and cut and solder the desired plug in. Use the glued waterproof heat shrink to seal the joints and it will be as good as new.

Have a look about 1/3 of the way down the page, Econoseal 1.5 and 6.3mm connectors. Avoids soldering and if there’s enough cable, you should get away without extending any of the wires.
