I think my MFRU is playing up. I have bought a spare ( cheap ) and wanting to changing it. I have removed the undertray that obscures the exhaust but cannot still reach the thing.
Can I just remove the rear wheel arch liner and do it that way?
Is it near the ECU? If so access might be obscured a bit by the airbox but you should be able to get a good hand in if you take the airbox out via the wheel arch liner
I couldn’t see it buddy. I eyeballed it everywhere

Hmmm. I think mine must have fallen off the hook.
I guess Ill have to take off the snorkel pipe , remove the ecu and have a look. I just could not see it tonight .
It’s a bloody pain of an area to access with an SC’d car tbh.
I had to find an earth point for my CC pump in that region and it was lots of fumbling about blind. Best of luck

You say you removed the exhaust undertray (Diffuser?), try the other one - you’ll need the car on stands and you should be able to get a hand up from the bottom, I can just about reach my ECU from the floor.
Yep, plan b is to go from that side.

Hand between my cable throttle and firewall. It’s there!
I unclipped it but I haven’t got the dexterity to unclip the clips and hold it at the same time.
This is a job that would take about 18 seconds with a lift.
