Metallic Black Exige Wheels FOR SALE - NEW

Special one off original Exige wheels finished in Metallic Black - Look amazing in the Flesh.

These are very difficult to photograph as the look plain black without the camera flash and too bright if I used the flash! Must be seen to be appreciated

I might consider part-exchange of Exige or Elise wheels or any redundant bits you may have?

I’ll be away from 28th December - 23 January so ideally like to sell before Christmas or when I get back

Wheels look very interesting from the pictures, and as you state even better for real.
When could I visit to inspect/discuss (currently working between West London and Milton Keynes), possibly even do a deal. I will look out what ‘bits/tyres’ I have that you maybe interested in having. Plus I guess cash is acceptable!
I will try and call you on the mobile this evening.

Are these powder coated ??

Can you powdercoat in metallic? Also I thought power coating was not advised as it can weaken the structure of the alloy?!

But, no, they’re not powder coated.

Will,

Wheels look very cool by the way.

I’ve just asked in the office and Ive just been shown a metallic powder coating colour chart. Some very nice colours actually

I thought the original wheels were powder coated…

I had mine refurbished about a year ago and all they did was strip them and re powder coat them matt black.

Can you powdercoat in metallic? Also I thought power coating was not advised as it can weaken the structure of the alloy?!

But, no, they’re not powder coated.

Will as Robbo sayes you can and if not done right it will weaken the structure - hence the question …

Cheers

Andy, it was actually me who mentioned about poweder coating possibly weakening the alloy (you even quoted me in your reply!) I’ve seen 2 or 3 cases of snapped wheel spokes that have been attributed to wheels that have been heated too greatly during the powder coating process.

I was saying that I didn’t know you could powdercoat in metallic colours, very useful to know you can.
