Thought I would share this pic of Max, my new co-driver, having a trial seat fitting in the family Lotus earlier today. I think he was impressed - or at least he would have been if he hadn’t been sound asleep throughout Only seven days old, so might be a wee while until his neck muscles are up to Exige levels of cornering G
Great pic. We trained our two to sleep soundly by never tip-toeing around them. So a few hot miles in the Lotus will work wonders for Max’s sleep pattern. Start 'em early, that’s what I say.
My little girl (3 1/2) loves being driven from London to Cornwall in the Exige ( rather than the landrover ) … she falls asleep in either. Her car seat is a perfect fit in the Exiges’ bucket seat, and the four-point harness routes nicely ( and correctly ) through the securing points on the child seat so when PC Plod stopped me to take a look I got no grief on that score - and she absolutely loves going fast in it!! If only I could pursuade her to stop telling her mother how fast …
gwen head of lotus custom trim at hethel told me they can trim car seats to match your/my exige… well i dont need one just yet as im only 21 but maybe you can get a custom bebe seat?? (that said they let gwen go… big mistake)
What seat is that? I have a little un on the way and would like to start getting these things sorted…
Yeah, you need to get the important side of fatherhood sorted Not sure what make it is, but the one in the picture is actually a bit too wide for the Exige seat. I have got anther narrower one which fits better - didn’t buy it though, it was a hand-me-down from a friend. Best to measure the width of the seat before you go looking for one.
EEEK! Sorry Mr P no mini-Jamies planned Just with all this sensible advice stuff (well compared to the usual any way) Felt like I was on a different forum! Nothing wrong with though!
