Today we all went to Snetterton to fettle Matt’s Elise racer before the first race at Mallory (MERCS).

This is the Bernard Scouse (Auto-Teknix) Audi 1.8 Turbo conversion, in case you haven’t heard yet…

Last power reading was over 290 BHP at Emerald, courtesy Dave Walker and Karl, but there is a lot more to come with a couple of tweaks…

Being a track day, we have no idea of the times, but Matt was running in the wheel tracks of a JP1 for many laps, and it was hilarious watching them side by side on the pit straight!!!

I got to drive the car later in the afternoon for four laps, and it was truly AWESOME…

I would have been faster if I could have properly reached the pedals, and if I could have got used to the six speed box, but it really flies… (Thanks Matt)
