Man Maths

I think I paid 22k for my car about ten years ago.

You’d normally expect a car to be worth about 20% of what you paid for it after ten years so losing approx 1800 a year to depreciation.

If I’d kept my car boggo standard (which it perhaps is not  ) then it (optimistically) would be worth about 32k today so appreciating at about 1000 a year.

By my maths this means that I can spend nigh on 3k pa on mods and that’s like errrr actually costing me nothing,…its like kinda free!

Genius,…now where’s JSR’s number I’ve got some free money to spend :sunglasses:

Ohhhhh yesssss

putting the k back in then? :astonished:

That’s 3k to spend getting it further away from stock not closer

impressive man maths there

my usual justification is - well modding cars keeps me keen on the one I’ve got otherwise I’d be hopping from M3 to RS loosing loads each time

Benja … I wanna marry ya …
In 30 years you’ll be richer than Cowell

Could explore the option of the MercRacing Screw Blower…

That’s a lot of driver training you can buy “for free”

Looking at the prices of cars via the for sale link on our new French friends’ website, you’re due even more cash to spend, Ben.
