Its a CRG Rotax Max kart and OMG there so much fun, if you ever get the chance to have a go in one do it.
As you can see the track was not in tip top condition so trying to keep it on the black stuff was a handful but the big power slides made for even more fun
Used to race 125 rotax & would make the statement that it makes my k series feel slow… But a S/C honda, thought you lads were quicker than that!!
Was brilliant times, miss the wheel to wheel combat bigtime… can’t imagine how good a 250 superkart would be…
you can buy a complete s/h outfit which will have spares/tyres/trolley etc. for 1800 -3000 depending on age and condition. If you are new to karting buy a cheaper s/h outfit and learn the trade with it, youll only be crashing and bashing it at first and they can get expensive to fix, once youve learnt the basics and you feel you are out performing the kart then buy a newer one.
brand new 4k-4.5k
My only advise when buying is to go to your local track where you intend to use it and see who is running what chassis, and who is selling what chassis in your local area. no point in buying a chassis no-one has spare immediately available, also if half the grid are on the same chassis there are plenty of people on race day to bum spares off. ( you will need spares!!).

I paid 1900 for the kart, 2008 chassis 2002 engine rebuilt 8 hours ago.
Also got.
4 axles
3 set slicks on mag rims
1 set wet on mags
Tyre bags
Box of bit’s hubs etc etc
Loads of gears and chains
Kart trolley
Mychron4 dash
And a second set of body work (think i will be needing that)
Plaese get your self a rib protector. As weather gets hotter the tyres will be very very grippy and you will be struggling to find ways to loose the grip on the corners.
You can easily crack a rib just from a fast corner. Even if you dont you will be very very sore after 3 heats and a final.
Clay Pigeon was my favourite circuit. Have many fond memories of winning and crashing.
Karting is really great. Enjoy it.
Competed for 15 years and loved every minute (mostly)

Yeah i bought a rid protector before i went but didnt use it , i can see i will be needing it when the track gets warmer
Did a nice 360 on the left hander after the pits, bit damp on the apex and the tyres had started to go off, that got my attention
