Re MOT’s, I’ve just found out something that may be of use to you chaps who take your Exige’s catalysts off and store them. Just had my (new to me) Elise MOT’d - it had been in the dealer showroom for three months. It needed an immediate MOT, which it nearly failed (the emissions test) because the cat. was inactive. When you re-fit the cat, you will need to take the car for a good run and use the rev’s to ‘re-activate’ it.
