I think I have just had a bit of luck for a change this year.

Just been checking the car over for the MOT ( checking the cat is still there! ) and noticed a bit of oil on the undertray below the filter.

Had a good luck around and noticed the fire proof wrap looked to be quite wet around one of the hoses, removed the wrap and it is soaked in oil looks like the crimp on the 90 elbow has come loose.
So lucky this did not happen while we were at the classic.
How easy is it to remove these hoses?
Can the new hose be attached to the old one and pulled through?

Yes they can be used to pull through the new ones. Avoid the Lotus parts as they are not ideal. If you change the fittings to ally -10, then you can get a different end and then get rid of the loop that goes over to the exhaust manifold.
