How can I check if my car has got an LSD? I took it for it’s first MOT today and the guy said there was a sticker on it saying don’t use the rollers - he thought it was because of TC but I definitely haven’t got TC.
Jack up back wheels with gearbox in neutral, turn one rear wheel by hand, if the other turns in the same direction then you’ve got an LSD.

The it’s a no brainer (according to the order spec sheet). LSD only in combo with TC.
Besides this. Look at the diff (visible from the engine bay. Does it say LSD (written on it with a blackmarker pen)

Is the diff Lotus fit a plated type or the Quaife ATB?

While definitely the case with a plated diff I didn’t think that was true for the Quaife ATB diffs? I had an ATB in my old 205 and the guy that bought it was going to be stage rallying it. He said he’d need to change it out for a plated diff or he wouldn’t be able to drive it out of stages if he broke a driveshaft.
Mine’s a 2004 with a performance pack, I think the lsd came without tc then, not sure tc was an option?
