Low mileage MK1 Exige 190 for sale!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone
Well the time has come to sadly part with my toy.

Its a 2001 Mk1 Exige in rare Quartz Metallic silver (S2 colour). It’s an A/C model with only 11,000 miles
from new c/w the factory 190 upgrade and 1 previous owner. It comes with a fully documented history with EVERY
receipt in a folder inc all road tax discs, original purchase invoice and even the key fob tags from the production line
in Hethel. Just serviced with a FLSH and the car has never missed a beat, 11 months MOT and 5 months tax also HPI
clear and never had any paint or been crashed, stolen etc etc. It has a few stone chips on the front and rear arches,
but these are hardly noticeable because the metallic paint.

My Exige has also been treated to just about every extra Lotus has had to offer including the following;-

Exige race seats in black alcantara
3" Safety Devices harnesses
Quickshift, Carbon Airbox
Kenwood CD player
Alloy handbrake, gearknob,
Alloy heater controls,door card screws,
Alloy oil filler cap and window winders
“Exige” cam cover, fire extinguisher, mats
S2 Steering wheel in alcantara to match seats
“Lights On” warning buzzer
Spot light covers
Clear Indicator lenses front rear & sides
Smaller front number plate (plus original)
Lotus Supersport oval exhaust (plus original)
Lotus Cat bypass (plus original)
Mintex 1155 pads Front & Rear
Goodridge s/steel lines with Silkolene Dot 4.1 fluid
Lotus storage nets x 2 (stop things rattling around)
Lotus indoor Car Cover
New Yoko AO39 tyres (only done 400 miles)

I think thats about it!!!

I’m looking for offers around 23,495 ono, and I know it may sound a little high to some but it really is a mint
example of this amazing car and considering the amount of time I wasted looking at sheds up and down the country at garages
advertised as “pristine” I think you’ll all understand what I mean so dont let it slip away as I’d rather it go to a genuine enthusiast
but it than someone who’s just going to cane it’s asss up and down the high street then get rid of it.

I would not be selling but I’m expanding my business and need the money.

Also seperate to the sale is a full set of Exige Mk1 wheels with Yoko AO48’s which have done 2 track days and only small miles.
Sensible offers on these please as they cost me over 1000 to buy (after finally finding a set of rims!!!).

Please email me on [email protected] (weekdays only)
or Tel 07947 464438 (anytime before 10pm)

I’ve loads of pics if you need to see them and I’ve just put it on autotrader website with some images also.

Thanks
Glenn

Hi Guys
Am I asking too much for my dream machine???
I thought it was a fair price for the condition and spec.
Any comments would help.
Thanks
Glenn

Sadly I’d have said yes. That’s only about 7k less (20%) than new for a 4 year old car.

You’d have to find somebody that really wanted a completely mint one and they’re rare as it’s really a track car.

It’s about the time of year to get top money but for a private sale I’d have thought you were about 2k toppy.

My ‘old’ car (sob)

p.s it’s all what Glenn says

Hi Tim
Its a credit to your TLC initially that its still in such good condition,
(sobbing also).

Glenn
sounds like a stunning car - but you need to remember that whatever price you try and get its a specialist car and you might have to wait a while.

Agree with ROXX. When I bought mine the Lotus dealer had it sat in the show room for around 2 months. You just have to hang on in there but it could take time.

Thanks Guys
Very true, it will give me more time to have great drives on summer evenings and say goodbye,
(sob,sob,sob)
This is getting very sad, but I will miss it.
I will never forget the looks on peoples faces or the smile on kids as you go past.

Look on the bright side, you’ll be able to pick your nose whilst driving again!

Glenn

Judging by what people have said I’m willing to take serious offers around 22,500 o.n.o.

As they say, “when it’s gotta go, it’s gotta go”
and I havent got 2 months to wait.

Not back at computer until Monday, so will reply to emails then.

Thanks

Glenn
