I’ve always loved these. Not revisted them for ages and seeing that picture makes me slightly sad as they are starting to look, I was going to say dated but that’s obvious, maybe just less needed. You have to say though, that does look an exceptional example.
I was trying to find one of my old Lotus after the thread called ‘Google your reg’ . Sadly it looks like my Avon Sunbeam Lotus has become an RSJ.
Still much on the want list. Sadly rust from poor prep, a bodyshell not really designed for the power and suspension loads and parts challenges, can them a money pit like you wouldn’t believe. Fast enough to surprise most modern stuff 25 years later!!
They’re very much a 90’s turbo car with lots of lag. Followed by lots of smoke and opposite lock! All adds to the charm though
