No, no,no,no, no. If you must have a Morgan buy a period car. Same money much more fun.
The Aero is the only one…
nice i like it too…but cannot replace S1 tho…
Aeromax for me …
The new Plus8 is based upon the Aero - so ticks all the boxes for me
The new 3 wheeler is a cracking vehicle too.
Never really got the Morgan thing but very happy that we have room on the roads for them today.
Great power to weight ratio with the BMW V8 but given they used to use Range Rover V8s in the past why not go for the 5 litre 500bhp supercharged variant now available - now that would be fun and I see a supercharger fitting the lineage perfectly (think Spitfire and Merlin engine develpment during WWII).
D’ya suppose Morgan owners say the same about Lotus?
Great to see them bring back the V8…is BMW’s motor becoming the Rover V8 of the 21st century? Lol!
Think they have become even more of a success story the last decade, doing their own thing with bold styling… Love to have a model old or new sat next to the S1:)

I spent an absolute fortune on more power when I raced my Morgan + 8 , which was Rover powered, we went from 3.5 L , to 3.9L, to 4.5L , to 5.0L over about 10 years as people developed the engines, I spent more money at John Eales and TVR Power than most people do on a mortgage.
At least with the new BMW engined + 8 , you have a starter for ten !!! And the Aero chassis will be good, and I never, ever, owned a Morgan that didn’t appreciate
All my various Mogs were bought by people in Sweden & Denmark , why ?? I don’t know !!!
Mr P, I’m right with you. Fabulous car, Fabulous factory. Fabuuuuuulus, as Craig Revell-Horwood might say on Stri, ctly.
However, having failed to trouser the 41m Euro jackpot I really quite like the standard 4/4 two seater, in black or dark blue paint, tan leather interior and black/dark blue wire wheels.Ummmmm

It looks stunning - apart from the steering wheel the designer must have run clean out of ideas for that!
Not thought about it much then
