Lotus won't deliver RHD drive cars to Switzerland ?

I was hoping to buy a right hand drive Elise in Switzerland. Unfortunately Lotus apparently will not deliver a RHD to my dealer here. Can somebody please explain to me why ?My only other option is to buy one in the UK and pay an extra 6000 francs for it !!Maybe Porsche or Ferrari will oblige ?

Actually they will ! Mailed Lotus directly and they said it would be no problem. The Swiss dealer seems to be misinformed.
