Lotus tragedy

Hope it’s no one from here . .
News agency report:

A car passenger who managed to clamber out of a vehicle unhurt after it
crashed, was killed minutes later by another car which careered into the
group of people as they stood surverying the wreckage.
The victim was one of two people knocked down by a Lotus sports car which
arrived at the scene of the earlier single vehicle crash as police were
dealing with the incident.
Police were already at the scene but they were unable to save the life of
one of the bystanders while the other was taken to hospital, suffering from
serious injuries.
Both victims were believed to have been standing at the side of the road,
giving details to officers of how their Peugeot car left the road and
crashed. Neither had been hurt.
However, minutes later the Lotus sped up the road and reached the accident
scene which was on a roundabout where the A26 and A22 meet, close to the
rural village of Little Horsted, East Sussex.
The two victims who were knocked down by the Lotus in the early hours of
Saturday morning were rushed by ambulance to Eastbourne District General
Hospital, where one of them was certified dead on arrival.
Police said that the other victim had suffered serious injuries and was
detained at the hospital.

Not good!

Man that’s horrific, imagine standing there when it happened, straight after another crash. Doesn’t bear thinking about.

What a bad weekend for crashes! 17 dead.
