Between you & me, Ian, RussT has been asked to put the protoype through its paces at Anglesey.Apparantly, his skill at driving his new VW (truck-a-like)was recently spotted by none other than Alastair McQueen.I also belive that Joe Mc Carthy is developing a kit to enable a jet engine to be “bolted in”, without the need to modify/cut the engine bay. He is currently sourcing an engine supplier - in Iraq.

Dad, I mean Mum, I asked you to keep that quiet! Mr McQueen was most surprised as I went past him in his factory S2 Sport Elise, and asked him a question from the Sunday Times crossword at the same time…

Development of the Jet Powered Elise is on hold at the moment, my supplier in Iraq got himself killed fooling about with a new shipment of “smart bombs”.
