anyone seen this in EVO (i want lotus please put this car into production… )

if thats the car im thinking of it was a custom build by Lotus for a guy abroard somewhere, so it wont be going into production but i might be thinking of a different car… But it did look nice.

There’s a couple of thread with pics and all that, wasn’t actually built by lotus, just lotus “consulted”, still looks the nads!

But will NEVER be made again, a true one off! Plus I still think it’d cost on the painful side of �200K (all CF body, custom everything else )

I wouldn’t be too sure about that, young man �200K plus for a GT race car is not “expensive”, & there needs to be more than one for it to be homologated. 2006???

I don’t think it would do Lotus’s brand image any harm whatsoever to toss their hat into the GT-racing ring, along with most of the other “prestige” marks.

I like the aesthetics of the Sport Exige – looks so much more purposeful than the current car. A road-going version of this car would be incredibly nice indeed, so here’s hoping they do decide to take part. That said, ForcedFed are doing a “copy” of the Sport Exige bodykit, so one might be able to get the look at a fraction of the price (we’ll just have to wait and see what they’re kit looks like . . . easier said than done).

Can you tell us any more about this?

All I know is that they are in the process of developing a replica of the Sport Exige body-kit; beyond that I know nothing else.

Hello Guys,
We are hard at work on the body parts and I hope to have my protoype aluminum kit done in the next few weeks. we already have completed the spoiler and now we are finalizing the front splitter, rear diffuser and side pods. I am also working with a European distributor for our products and I will post up when I have that deal finalized. Have a great day guys.

Could I humbly suggest that you consider taking a slightly more subtle route than the Sport Exige and not have a huge rear wing (a pet hate of mine). Maybe something along the lines of the Esthi? [image]http://users.pandora.be/lotuselise/tuning/tuning.jpg[/image]
