Lotus racing (evosal)

I think he’d bought a few too many scratches tbh,…it was a total shed. You can see why you would for a laugh when they go for (relative) pin money.

Yes my mistake its a Merak

This was interesting, I found this at an auction, everyone overlooked it as just a tatty old range rover, it was actually a Genuine Overfinch with a 6.3 corvette engine, with only 37,000 mls from new, one of only 3 ever built, it was double the cost to buy when new.
The overfinch enthusiasts knew of the car and had been trying to trace it for years, it had lain unused in a basement garage in Kensington.
I sold it to a customer in Germany

GTM kit car, bought brand new in the 70’s but never built up

1927 Daimler, cost new £3500, it still had the original brochure with the paperwork and in mint condition
£3500 in 1927 would have bought a substantial house !

1962 Mini Cooper, I bought this off a local old guy , I had tried to buy it many times, it was stored in his garage and was in really good solid condition until he put it in his garden 10 years ago.
Such a waste !!

I love this thread it’s like “Evosal’s Automotive Curiosity Shop”

How on earth do you value these obscure things to know that you can turn a profit.

It’s great isn’t it

Lol, I do make the odd mistake…but not many

Everyone thought I was mad when I bought this but I sold it no problem :open_mouth:
I got some very odd looks driving up the m6 with it on the back of the truck !!

Is that one of Sean’s suppositories?

Had to get rid of this quick, all the local kids (and adults) were knocking on the door for a ride in it.

Can anyone name this ?

1930’s Bedford Horsebox, absolutely riddled with woodworm !! still sold very well though.

Proper  at you driving the bus  You look quite at home in there bud…ding ding

1930’s Bedford pick up

Who did you sell it to, Hamas?

Lol, its not as easy as you think, its a nightmare on country roads with overhanging branches, not to mention planning every journey to avoid low bridges

A drinks company in London bought it to put on the side of their building, the company advertising slogan was “Rocket fuel”

1971 Opel GT

1932 Austin 10 van, saved from a scrapyard in 1966
