What a BRILL day guys!!!
NEVER seen so much rain in one day!
Very wet track to start… then slowly dries out…
Started off great as I managed to get my Eldest a helmet and he SO enjoyed his pax ride!
Having just 150 bhp was very useful!!! Just on tip toes all the way around but enjoyed passing loads of other peeps! Car handled just brilliantly and was SO much fun to drive on the wet limit!
Started to dry out about 11 ish, and the grip just kept on coming. Kept up well with the more powerful stuff in the corners but left for dead out of them and down the straights! Becketts was just BRILL… I have never driven Silverstone before and that combo of corners is just a HOOT!
Lunch… during which time is dumped more rain!! I had booked 15 mins instruction after lunch, so t was very useful having a pro on board on the wet track. I was tending to stray a bit toward the middle of the straigh before turning in… he cured that and it made things flow much better!
Then… the HEAVENS opened! I have never seen SO much rain in the space of 25 mins… the garages were all flooded with about 1/2 inch of water! Heaven know what the F1 guys wuld have said if the had happened on the GP weekend! Session was obviously red flagged… we waited about 2 hours but gave up with some great memories of the morning! 
Overall, a brill day. Car ran perfectly and very impressed with the set-up now that Steve has weaved hos magic on the front end turn in. None of the horrid understeer that plagued me at Anglesea!
Now… I have some great vid that is now on my computer. Would someone please let me know how I can get this to a linky here so I can post some fun and games!
