Just trying to get my head around the front edge of it and how it will fit against the footwell divider?
Thanks - couldn’t work out why or how the two original parts - transmission tunnel & gear lever cowling - were replaced. It looks like this only replaces the tunnel then but seems strange why it has part of the cowling also?
It doesn’t. Its exact;y the same shape as the original tunnel.

It replaces the bit underneath the handbrake, hence Dan’s comment. 
Rob - I’l have to take the gear lever cowling off & check - i just don’t recognise the front edge of the replacement piece!
Tried to find a picture on line but failed…
Doh! Guess we should change the description a little. They are a direct replacement for an Elise, a bit of modding/trimming is required to fit an Exige. The bump at the end is the rear of the cabin
If anyone has part 12 lying around I could do with one of them.
Not in carbon, just plastic.
p.s. Sorry Steve, forgot the Exige was different at the back end.

OK - I was being dense - I thought that the bump at the end went to the front! It now makes sense to me… 
I have got a full Carbon Fibre interior. Admitedly mostly made by myself but when i moulded up all the interior removeal parts(less the dashboard complete) i recollect no troubles with the handbrake console you refer too. Only thing you have too do is cut the section out fot the handbrake and then drill a couple of holes to put the fasteners in too hold it too the gear lever surround and the rear centre spine. No great shakes really. I have pictures somewhere on one of the old hard drives. I’ll fish em out and send them to you.
