Cars and items for sale, info on what to look for etc etc?

Not specifically… Club Lotus and their quarterly mag tends to cover crustier models (and owners).
Forums like SELOC and Pistonheads, in addition to here of course, are the best places.
You could also try the Lotus drivers club, & the ‘official’ factory club ‘Lotus Club International’ (LCI) which you can join online at the factory website.
Club Lotus always has a large classified section of mainly pre '96 models, although the Elise/Exige is increasingly featured. Ditto for the drivers club.
LCI is factory backed & tends to feature/push the current cars, although they do now feature older model stuff & the history of Lotus. Not much by way of classifieds though.
