I went on the Lotus Factory Tour this Wednesday and just wanted to say that i really enjoyed it, anyone who hasn’t done it should certainly go! The guys taking us round were really knowledgable both about the cars and the manufacturing process.
Anyway, more interestingly we asked the guy giving us a tour (if only i could remember his name…) about the new models and he smiled politely and nodded when i mentioned the Esprit coming in 2010, but when i mentioned the Eagle coming next (likely being released at the London Motor Show this year) he smiled more widely and said “SOMETHING will be coming next”… as if they have something up their sleeve that we are not expecting… Now there is every possibility that he was just refering to the fact that the new car has not yet officially been called the Eagle… but it got me wondering!!!
