Hi
Many thanks for allowing me in
I am looking to buy an exige and have been to see one in a garage in Cardiff
It is a series 2 with a touring pack 2007 model it is advertised as having an engine with 218 bhp but I am told it does not have a supercharger and is not an s model
I am confused as I thought that the series 2 models after 2006 all had superchargers and started at 218 bhp the previous series 2 models being 198 bhp NA
Any clarification would be gratefully received .

any pictures of the back? easy to see the intercooler
also N/A cars have black wings, pods and splitter
Do you have a link to the garage or advert?
Not sure when NA’s stopped production, however the ‘220’ S started 2006 IIRC. NA’s can be fitted with a s/c kit to give 220 (217 actually) also without the intercooler gubbins (as per the elise s/c).
Many thanks for the reply’s
Here is a link to the advert Discount Differential Tools | williamsmotor.co.uk
hope this helps the car looks great and am taking a drive this weekend
very grateful for any help

I would say that is not 218 bhp.
Lovely car though.
They are a very different drive the NA and the S. NA needs to be kept at high revs whereas the S has the torque to pull hard from less revs but can feel ‘lazy’ when doing so.
N/A cars (and S2s in general really) have gone up a touch of recent eh
not sure I’d want a N/A car for 22k though, there is another for 20k with the nice seats, but it is older:
Welcome to the site.
Looks like a NA to me, there is definitely no intercooler as you can see through the rear window in the head on shot.
If it hasn’t been retro fitted with the non intercooled s/c from an elise or fitted with a non oem s/c or reflashed from anything other than std factory code it will be a 189hp model.

Deffo not a factory S and as such is overpriced imo.
Keep researching for a while till you get to know a tad more about them .
And welcome to Exiges !
Thank you all for comments am still looking price and spec keep going up! Have now asked a dealer to help search for me will post with photos when I finally take the plunge hopefully in the near future.
