Lotus Exige based supercar to debut at Geneva?
Two years ago, infamous tuner John Hennessey announced plans to produce his own supercar named the Venom GT. According to information released today by Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE), the finished car will make its debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show.

As you can see in these official renderings from HPE, the Venom GT bears more than a passing resemblance to a Lotus Exige despite HPEs insistance that they are not affiliated with Lotus Cars on the project. The image at the top even features a British flag in the background - a clear nod to Lotus. Assuming the Venom GT ever makes limited production, perhaps Hennesseys plan is to heavily modify already-built Exige models and create something similar to Rufs wild CTR 3.

The Texas-based tuner forecasts an ambitious spec sheet for the Venom GT, with a curb weight below 2400 lbs, power up to 1200 hp, and a 0-60 MPH time of 2.4 seconds. While power was originally slated to thunder from a twin-tubocharged 8.4L Dodge Viper V10, the updated specs call for three V8s. The base engine will be a 700 hp version of the LS9 supercharged V8 found in the Corvette ZR1. Hennessey did not elaborate on the other two engines.

A six-speed manual transmission will channel power to the ground while braking will be accomplished by 14 inch carbon rotors clamped by six-piston calipers in the front and four-piston calipers in the rear.
They’ll never fit 3 V8’s in the back of that

thats very nice, what the gt3 should of been.
