Lotus carbon bike as used by Chris Boardman

If you take a look at my avatar you’ll see where my other interests lie, thus I came across this article and pics . . . if you plough through it, you’ll find present day experts still rate the bike’s aero properties very highly.

have seen this bike at the motor museum, very very cool

Planet RT58 in stealth black…
About 2000 miles since June & loving it.

2,000 miles! You need to get out in the car a bit more
Cervelo R3 here. But tend to use the old faithful Ribble 653, 80 miles the other day and chasing stats on Strava. Are you on Strava? We could be completely sad and follow each other’s progress, or lack of!!

But if a typo… 1000 miles!

I used to make marketing models and was involved with Lotus to make some pin badges of the bike
If I have any around you are welcome to one …will pm you if they turn up…

Got the job because Lotus marketing director was not amused at our use of the Lotus trademark on other models.(have you ever had a telephone melt in your hand?).in the end we sorted it amicably and they became good customers.!

That sounds like a bus Steve

I have a Graham Weigh 653 as ridden by Sir Bradley in his younger days. I now mainly ride my Principia RSL or a Titainium Omega Alchemy. No need for better bikes, just less lard on me.
