After early season engine problems, Lotus Sport Cadena will be back in action at Brands Hatch in July. Regular driver pairing Gavan Kershaw and Barrie Whight will once again pilot the number 19 car, with Mark Fullalove partnering Paul Whight in the number 18 car.

Team driver Barrie Whight commented “Lotus Engineering have been hard at work resolving the engine issues. The new spec engine has spent many hours on the dyno at Lotus without any problems”. He added “We must not forget the fact the the engine is only 1.8 litres, smaller than most family saloon cars, so it is a remarkable achievement to get 350 brake horse power in the first place. Engine problems are always more likely when you push an engine to the very edge of it’s ability, but Lotus Engineering are world renowned and have put a lot of effort into resolving early season engine failures”.

Lotus Sport Cadena will be welcoming their team partners to the fantastic Brands Hatch circuit and look forward to putting on a giant killing show. Go get 'em boys!

Correct already done my annual trip down there for a very cold day earlier this year but if you want to encourage other people you have to make it easy for them

Good to hear that. I’ve been planning to see them race sometime this year and I was beginning to give up hope.
