Just watching the review on ITV4 and amazed to see that this car still has what it takes to win over more modern competition.
Shame is was banned 
I wonder where this technology would have have F1 today?
If only ferrari had came up with the idea first…
Must say that the constant banning of things is becoming quite tedious. Isn’t F1 supposed to be the pinnacle of the sport? The ultimate expression of motoring meritocracy?
Great to see the 88 running so well. I really believe that using historics as a way of developing these days is working well. The Type 80 is another good example - Sid Hoole isn’t the quickest driver but the car runs well now.
