2.0 or 2.4 V8 elise 
Part of the Elise equation could be a 2.0 or 2.4 litre in-line four based on the new modular V8
No mention of the V6 Exige though

Yea, quite looking forward to seeing the V6 Exige… it could well be a step in the right direction for Lotus I think (hope!).
Wel it appears they have suddenly noticed nobody is buying a 1.6 Elise, there is a shocker
I’m forced to sit on my hands at the moment thanks to my Rex taking a hammering on price which may be a good thing as I can see how this v6 exige turns out.
What does that mean?
What part? I take it you mean on how the v6 turns out. If so if I could get out of my current deal I would be getting an S2 with the 1.8 engine.
It’s not clear yet whether the V6 is going to spoil what the exige is all about, ie lightness etc. It may or may not become the exige to own so by me being forced to wait some more before I can buy I can see if it’s the car to buy instead of being tied with the S2 and wishing I had a V6
