The guy was being way to aggressive - mate drving behind in a 997 is convinced he was “racing” with another guy in a yellow lotus (he’s not sure who orwhich model)
Also, I am wondering if his car is the same one that had the S/C fitted by Hofmanns at the same time as mine. If it was, then first time on track with S/C and crashes it… draw your own conclusions.

Loved it Dave! Chris Randall has done a superb job at setting the car up, and the power and grip is awesome. To be honest there is still plenty more grip available… but as this was my first outing with the car, I decided not to go balls out! Although quick enough to keep those pesky GT3’s at bay…!!
The weak point of the car is the brakes - i need to upgrade to the AP 4 pots etc. will improve feel and control.
Relatively cheap to run (I hope) as tryes and brakes are cheaper and just last longer - overall a hell of a lot of car for the money!

Nah, Tim’s car has been s/c for some time now (perhaps 2 or more years iirc), & he’s done loads of trackdays in it.

Fair enough.
I have nothing against the guy, other than the fact that he nearly hit my car. It just annoys me when he states that he was driving at a moderate speed etc… when he clearly wasn’t. If he wants to go balls out and take risks etc. then go racing - just don’t do it on a track day!
I wasn’t passing any judgement whatsoever, Mark, so don’t worry on that score 
Just sorry to read about the incident, however it has helped to convince me of the desirability of investing in a Hans Device, sooner rather than later.

Crickey, I’ve just read the LOT thread! It does sound like an interesting day 
Silverstone in the wet is just plain scary in my view.
