Ha, ha, yeah there’s still plenty of room for improvement on most corners.
With the Toyota I find myself in no mans land. If you can’t keep it on the 2nd cam by the time you exit the corner then you have poor accel on the next straight. The torque totally drops off.
Thanks to the geo improvements I found a lot more speed in the hairpin and lodge. I could come off the brakes far earlier and keep the speed.
I totally enjoyed the day, especially the variable conditions which make you think more. I was definitely running in a higher gear after lunch in the heavy rain, that’s when you don’t want to bring in the 2nd cam!
if it is like normal the BaT days for Spa will be the Monday and Tuesday after the Spa 24hr weekend, that will make it the 1st and 2nd August, not sure I can do it yet, or if I will be aloud on the years trip based on the questions to be answered.
