It’s all but 5 weeks since I picked up my new Exige S and still no V5 
I started to chase its whereabouts after 3 weeks thinking it may have got caught up in the postal dispute. When I rang the DVLA to check they said my reg has not been issued.
As at today, still no V5 and still the DVLA say they have no record of my reg.
Bell & Colvill registered the car at the DVLA office in Reading and my tax disc was computer generated by them. I spoke again to Jamie at B&C on Friday and he’s chasing it up.
What I can’t understand is how this can happen. Surely the DVLA office in Reading is linked to Swansea? If it wasn’t for the fact that I’m dealing with B&C I would be beginning to smell a rat somewhere.
I live very close to the entrance to Thorpe Park where the police often have their ANPR vans checking details of passing cars. I presume if I drive past them I’m going to get a tug.
